Once a year, when the flavor in the plants are at their summer peak, our Fanciest Black Dragon Formosa Oolong buds are handpicked and processed. Referred to as the "champagne of teas" and distinguished by their crisp, dry, greenish brown leaves with silver tips, only the most superior Formosa Oolongs produced each season earn the "fanciest" grade. At about 40% oxidation, the naturally curly leaves produce an incredibly satisfying peach pit flavored liquor that is neither bitter nor astringent. This tea is a delight anytime of day and is often the personal choice of seasoned and professional tea connoisseurs.
