Oolong Teas

With an oxidation level at about 15%, our Finest Jade Pouchong is very lightly oxidized and is as close to a green tea as you'll find in an oolong. Unlike the two leaves and the bud taken for other teas, Amber and Jade Oolongs consist of the entire five to six leaves of the shoot. Pouchong leaves are naturally long and twisted and produce a brilliant light emerald colored liquor that offers incredible body and depth for a lightly oxidized tea.

Taken from a legend involving a Buddhist Goddess, Ti Kwan Yin loosely translated means Iron Goddess of Mercy. Grown in China's Fujian province, Ti Kwan Yin buds come from shorter and broader plants that produce shiny, almost gleaming dark green leaves with jagged, curling edges. These exquisite, uniquely fragrant, tightly twisted leaves produce a robust, yet delicate, full-bodied taste and a luminous golden-orange liquor.

Once a year, when the flavor in the plants are at their summer peak, our Fanciest Black Dragon Formosa Oolong buds are handpicked and processed. Referred to as the "champagne of teas" and distinguished by their crisp, dry, greenish brown leaves with silver tips, only the most superior Formosa Oolongs produced each season earn the "fanciest" grade. At about 40% oxidation, the naturally curly leaves produce an incredibly satisfying peach pit flavored liquor that is neither bitter nor astringent. This tea is a delight anytime of day and is often the personal choice of seasoned and professional tea connoisseurs.

Cultivated in China's Fujian province, our Fancy Magnolia Blossoms is a gently scented, lightly oxidized tea that is prepared in the same fashion as jasmine tea. Fragrant magnolia flowers are infused with the oolong tea leaves multiple times to lightly scent and flavor the tightly twisted leaves. This is a light and gentle oolong tea. The nectar from this wonderfully unique flavor with its soothing and relaxing character is sure to delight you in every way.

Unique and aromatic, our Ceylon Oolong Special is a full leave tea. This marvelous tea is smooth, fruity-sweet, full-bodied and with a touch of peachy note. This highly oxidized Oolong create a dark, yet smooth cup of tea. It's also great over ice.

Our Formosa Oolong is smooth, fruity, sweet and with no after taste. Not only it makes a great cup of hot tea, but also fabulous iced tea.
